Marina di Bibbona borders in the south on the Oasi di Bolgheri (Bolgheri's Oasis), more than 500 hectares of woods and marshes protected by WWF since 1959. Here a multitude of resident and migratory birds live and prosper, and their number it's so considerable that in the residential area is unbelievably easy see wild and beautiful animals like the majestic white Heron, the impressive red Heron as many varieties of Cranes, wild Ducks and Gooses, together with rare and beautiful birds of prey such us the mash Harrier and the white-tailed sea Eagle. Besides the Oasi di Bolgheri, many and renowned are the preserved areas easily reachable from Marina di Bibbona: Grosseto (40 Km.away) offers to the naturalist-tourist a unique spectacle, like also the Montecristo Isle (open every year for a limited number of visitors) and again the wooded slopes of Mount Amiata.
